SSF Merge · last updated 18 September 2026

SSF Merge is provided free of charge, as is, with no warranty and no support commitment. Installing or using it means you accept the terms below.

Who provides SSF Merge

SSF Merge is made and published by DBP Invest ApS, CVR 36053925, a company registered in Denmark, under the publisher name StruktureretSundFornuft ApS. Where these terms say “we”, that is who it means.

What you may do with it

You may install SSF Merge and use it, for personal or commercial work, on as many devices as you like, at no cost. You do not need a licence key, an account or our permission.

The code, and the name, are two different things

The source is public at github.com/dannbleeker/SSF-Merge and it is released under the MIT licence. That licence is the one that governs the code, and it is deliberately permissive: you may copy it, change it, build on it, and distribute or sell what you build, commercially or otherwise, as long as you keep the copyright notice. Nothing on this page takes any of that away.

What the MIT licence does not grant is our identity. The name SSF Merge, the icons shipped with it, and the publisher name StruktureretSundFornuft ApS are ours and are not licensed to you. So a fork is welcome, and it goes out under its own name, with its own icons and its own support address. That is the ordinary way an MIT project is forked, and it is the only rule here worth stating twice: the point is not to stop you shipping it, it is to keep two different things from carrying one name.

What you may not do

No warranty

SSF Merge is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not promise that it is free of defects, that it will suit your purpose, or that it will keep working with future versions of PowerPoint.

It writes to the presentation you have open. Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose before you merge into it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of SSF Merge, including lost work, lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish law.

This is a tool given away for nothing. Please treat it accordingly.

Support

There is no service level and no guaranteed response time. Questions and bug reports are welcome at the support page, and we answer when we can.

Availability and changes

We may change SSF Merge, or stop publishing it, at any time and without notice. Updates are delivered automatically through the add-in's hosted files, so the version you use may change without you doing anything.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Earlier versions stay visible in the project's public history.

Privacy

SSF Merge collects nothing. The details are in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, and any dispute goes before the Danish courts.
